Worship on Christmas Eve; Library, Town Hall Closing Early

Here are a few things to know about today, Christmas Eve, Dec. 24, in and around Barrington: 

• All of Barrington’s Christian churches are holding Christmas Eve services to celebrate the birth of Christ. Click here for the schedule.  
• The Barrington Recreation Department has scheduled discounted bowling this week at Dudek Bowling Lanes, 409 Child St., Warren. Here is the schedule: Dec. 24, 9 to 5 pm; Dec. 26-27, 12-5 pm, Dec. 28, 9-5 pm. Click here for more information. 
• The Barrington Public Library closes at 12:30 pm for the Christmas holiday; it reopens on Thursday at 9 am.
• The Barrington Town Hall closes at 12 noon; it reopens on Thursday at 8:30 am.
