2 Men Accused Of Breaking Into Cars, Stealing Belongings In Warren

Warren police say most of the stolen property has been returned. Investigators are working to locate the remaining stolen items.

WARREN, RI — Two men were arrested Monday in Warren after police said they broke into several cars in town and stole items from them.

Over the past few days, Warren police received several complaints of vehicles being tampered with at night. Around 1:40 a.m. Monday, officers from the 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. shift noticed two men walking around wearing ski masks. Police said they questioned and searched the men and found they possessed stolen property from several vehicles throughout town.

The two men were arrested but have not yet been identified by police.
