John M. Brandao, 90: Active Parishioner of St. Elizabeth Church

John M. Brandao, 90, of Milford Street passed away on Sunday, May 5th at Silver Creek Manor surrounded by his loving family.

He was the husband of the late DeoLinda (Borges) Brandao, his wife of 57 years.

Born in Provacao, St. Michael, Azores, he was the son of Augustine M. and Maria Trindade (Borges) Brandao. He arrived in the United State in 1956 and lived in Bristol for the rest of his life.

Funeral services will be held Friday, May 10 at 10 am from the George Lima Funeral Home, 367 High St., with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am at St. Elizabeth Church, 577 Wood St.

Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Bristol. Calling hours are Thursday from 4 to 8 pm.
