Newport Daycare Center Doesn't Immediately Notify Parents

1. A Newport daycare owner didn't notify parents after responding to allegations of sexual abuse in the daycare center.

2. Line Dancing Party: Join Bristol and Warren residents in the Community Hall at the Benjamin Church Manor, 1014 Hope St., Bristol, on Friday, Aug.16 from 10 a.m. - 11 a.m for a morning of line dancing and fun.

3. All are invited to be in the parade! Come in costume! The parade forms behind the library AT 10:15 am and steps off at 10:30. It goes down Hope St, to State and to Thames then back to the library through the parking lot. Followed by a performance by Alexander the Foolish Jester!

4. To create a healthier community Bristol Total Fitness and Bristol Parks and Recreation would like to invite the local citizens to participate in a FREE Saturday morning 60 minute boot camp! Starting Saturday, July 13th @ 6:30 am and running through August 17th. Come to all or hop in a few, it's FREE! 

Wear your workout attire and be prepared to sweat. Bristol Total Fitness will supply the water. Liability waiver must be signed prior to participating. 

In case of extreme weather it will be held at Bristol Total Fitness, 685 Metacom Ave, Bristol, RI.

5. Friday will be mostly sunny, with a high near 78. Light southwest wind becoming south 5 to 10 mph in the morning.
