Warren Police Log: Assault, DUI, Suspended License Arrests

The Warren Police Department reported the following arrests:

• Cynthia Kindell, 59, of 272 Child St., on charges of simple assault, resisting arrest, and disorderly conduct on Dec. 21, 2012. She is due for arraignment in Sixth District Court today on the assault charge.
• Dennis Melanson, 49, of 104 Shore Ave., Seekonk, MA, on charges of DUI and refusal to submit to a chemical test on Dec. 21, 2012. Melanson pleaded not guilty to the charge at arraignment on Dec. 28. A pretrial hearing is scheduled for Jan. 11. 
• Joshua Gustafson, 23, of 95 Baker St., Seekonk, MA, on a charge of driving with a suspended license on Dec. 23. He is due for arraignment today in Sixth District Court.
• Gregory Duarte, 42, of 914 Hanover St., Fall River, MA, on a charge of driving with a suspended license on Dec. 26. He is due for arraignment today in Sixth District Court.
• Shane Neves, 31, of 33 Carver St., Fall River, MA, on charges of breaking and entering and obtaining money under false pretenses on Dec. 26. A felony pre-arraignment hearing is scheduled for Feb. 27.
• Robert Machado, 31, of 500 Wood St., Bristol, on a charge of driving with a suspended license following an accident on Metacom Avenue on Dec. 27. He is due for arraignment today in Sixth District Court.
• Jonathan Longo, 23, of 8 Brady St., on a charge of driving with a suspended license following a traffic stop on Dec. 28. He is due for arraignment today in Sixth District Court.
• Susan Laferriere, 49, of 8 Federal St., on a charge of issuing fradulent checks under $1,000 on Dec. 29.
