Warren Stabbing Leaves 1 Man Wounded, Another Locked Up
The stabber was found hiding in a nearby apartment, police said.
WARREN, RI — A Sunday night stabbing in Warren left one man wounded and another locked up, police said.
Officers called out to an altercation involving two men found one of them "on the ground with apparent stab wounds and injuries to his head," police said.
Another man, 39-year-old Kyle DaSilva was "located in a nearby apartment attempting tohide and was taken into custody. DaSilva sustained minor injuries," according to police.

Both DaSilva and the stabbed man, a 42-year-old, were taken to Rhode Island Hospital in Providence, police said.
Two women suffered injuries in the incident that were not "related to a stabbing," police said, and they also were taken to Rhode Island Hospital.

"A search warrant was later executed at a related residence, where several knives were recovered," police said. "Initial investigation indicates that DaSilva and the male victim were known to each other."
DaSilva was taken from the hospital to the Warren Police Department, where
he was processed and arraigned on charges of felony assault with a dangerous weapon and disorderly
conduct, according to police.
"His bail was set at $10,000 with surety, and he was subsequently held at the Adult Correctional
Institutions pending a formal arraignment in Newport District Court," police said.
