Wanted Warwick Man Nabbed: Cops

The Warwick man was wanted by the Burrillville Police Department, police saiad.

BURRILLVILLE, RI — A wanted Warwick man was apprehended Wednesday, police said.

Michael J. Lafleur, 36, was captured by the Rhode Island State Police Violent Fugitive Task Force Burrillville police officers, the state police said in a media release.

Lafleur was wanted by the Burrillville Police Department on charges of possession of a firearm by a person convicted of a crime of violence, carrying a pistol without a license and large capacity feeding device, according to the release.

"Mr. LaFleur was taken into custody without incident and turned over to members of the Burrillville Police Department on scene," the release said.
