• Payment on hold for Charlestown Beach Road crosswalk project (thewesterlysun.com) — Final payment for the Charlestown Beach Road crosswalk project is being withheld while town officials push the contractor to finish a punch-list of unresolved construction items. Town Administrator Jeff Allen and Public Works Director Michael DiCicco are pressing K-5 Corporation for responses, aiming to ensure the crosswalk meets safety and quality expectations before any remaining funds are released.
