2013 Coventry Memorial Day Parade Road Closure

Coventry Police Patrol Captain Rick Heise advises there will be traffic restrictions on Monday, May 27, 2013 on Washington Street (Rt. 117) beginning at approximately 9 a.m. due to the Memorial Day Parade. 

The parade will begin at 10 a.m. from MacArthur Blvd., and will proceed west on Washington St., ending at the VFW at 29 South Main St. at about 12 p.m. There will be limited travel in the area during this time and motorists are advised to seek alternate routes. 

The parade is always enjoyable to the many residents who line the sidewalks and parking lots along the route! It is a great Coventry tradition that allows the community to honor the men and women who died while serving their country.
