BankRI Hires Coventry Resident As Senior Vice President

Seasoned commercial banking professional Tom Fitzgerald joins BankRI as Senior Vice President.

 

Bank Rhode Island (BankRI) announced Tuesday that it has hired Coventry resident Tom Fitzgerald as Senior Vice President, Team Leader in their Commercial Banking Division. 

Tom joins BankRI’s already impressive group of commercial bankers and will be responsible for providing leadership, developing new client relationships and arranging financial solutions for businesses throughout BankRI’s market area.

Before joining BankRI, Fitzgerald served as a Vice President and Commercial Lender with The Washington Trust Company, and also previously worked for Citizens Bank. Throughout his career, Tom has become a well-known and respected financial professional within the Rhode Island business community.

In addition to his work at BankRI, Fitzgerald serves as Treasurer of the Board of Directors for New Urban Arts, a nationally-recognized community arts studio in Providence that offers mentoring programs for inner city youth.

Tom is a resident of Coventry, where he lives with his wife and two children. He holds a B.S. in Management from Rhode Island College along with an MBA from Providence College and a Graduate Certificate in Finance from the New England College of Finance.
