Bertha I. (LaJoie) Cormier-Cardilli was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She died on Saturday, June 29, 2013.
Bertha I. (LaJoie) Cormier-Cardilli , 71, formerly of Coventry, died on Saturday, June 29, 2013, at Philip Hulitar Hospice Inpatient Center in Providence.
She was the beloved companion of the late Joseph Cardilli. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Janet (Genereux) Lajoie. Bertha worked as a jeweler for many years until her retirement. She enjoyed fishing, scrabble, and reading; her grandchildren were her pride and joy.
Bertha was a devoted mother, wife, and cherished grandmother of 23 and great-grandmother of 12.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service on Wednesday, July 3 at 8 p.m. in the Nardolillo Funeral Home & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston.
