Boston Marathon 2022: Meet The Runners From Coventry
The race will once again be held on Patriots Day, after it was moved to October last year and canceled in 2020.
COVENTRY, RI — For the first time since the start of the coronavirus pandemic, the Boston Marathon is back on its normal date. Following last year's fall race, Marathon Monday will be April 18.
Two runners from Coventry will compete in this year's race, both women.
- Vera Fedorenko, 28
- Sara Mulligan, 33
The marathon was held last October, following the postponement and eventual cancellation of the 2020 race. This year's race, the 126th Boston Marathon, will be held on Patriots Day, as is tradition.
