Miller said that the driver crashed his Chevrolet Impala after police were dispatched to the area for a report of a disturbance at the Olde Theater Diner.

“While looking for the vehicle, an officer saw him,” Miller said. “By the time the officer turned around, [the driver] had crashed.”

Miller said that police were not in an active pursuit before the crash.
