Coventry Parks Dept. Offering Trips To Celtics, Bruins Games, More

The first 14 kids ages 7 to 14 to register will get to stand with a Boston Celtics player during the national anthem.

COVENTRY, RI — Are you looking for something fun to do with the family in the coming months? The Coventry Parks and Recreation Department is offering several trips, including a special night for the kids at a Boston Celtics game.

On Feb. 3, the department is offering a special trip to the Celtics game against the Phoenix Suns. The package includes the price of a ticket and transportation to and from the game.

"We are offering special trips to the Celtics," the parks and recreation department said in a statement. [The] first 15 registered kids, ages 7-14, get to have the experience of a lifetime and go out on the court to stand with a Celtics player during the National Anthem!"
