FBI Offers $50K Reward For Info On Brown University Killer
FBI Boston Special Agent in Charge Ted Docks said he believes the gunman remains "armed and dangerous."

PROVIDENCE, RI — The FBI offered a $50,000 reward for information on the gunman who killed two Brown University students and injured nine others in a mass shooting Saturday afternoon.
The information must lead to the arrest and conviction of the shooter, said FBI Boston Special Agent in Charge Ted Docks, who told of his belief that the killer remains "armed and dangerous."
The Providence Police Department also released new photos and video of a person of interest wanted in connection with the investigation.

The person of interest was captured on video in the area of Hope and Benevolent streets about two hours before the gunman opened fire shortly after 4 p.m. Saturday.

One person of interest has already been detained. That man was detained and released Sunday.

"He has been cleared," Rhode Island Attorney General Peter Neronha said of the first person of interest. "He is no longer a person of interest."
Neronha and Docks, along with Rhode Island Gov. Dan McKee, Providence Mayor Brett Smiley and Police Chief Col. Oscar L. Perez addressed the media Monday evening at a press conference at the Providence Public Safety Complex.

"Everything that's physically possible is being done," McKee said of the effort to apprehend the gunman, which was in its third day Monday.
"This is a very active investigation, a very complex investigation," said Perez, who disclosed the shooter was armed with a 9 mm pistol.
"It's all hands on deck," Perez said.
