Coventry Police Arrest Man For Sexual Assault
Police allege a 33-year-old Rhode Island man was carrying on a sexual relationship with a 14-year-old girl.
COVENTRY, RI—Police on Monday arrested Jeffery Dalnas, 33, of Scituate, for third degree sexual assault. The victim is a 14-year-old girl. Detectives allege he had sex with the teen "multiple times." Dalnas was arraigned in District Court on Dec. 18. Bail was set at $50,000 with surety. The judge also ordered him not to have contact with anyone under 18, including the victim.
Detectives investigated Dalnas after they received a complaint, police said.
