Coventry Police Investigate Threat At Middle School Thursday

COVENTRY, RI — Coventry police were called to the Alan Shawn Feinstein Middle School on Thursday at 7:45 a.m. The school administration asked for police help in connection with a "threatening" social media post. According to the police, some parents alerted school officials about the post, which a student had sent.

The student, who was located at home, is being charged with disorderly conduct. No name is being released, due to the youngster's age, police said. No weapons were involved. The case will be pursued in Family Court and by the schools.
