COVENTRY, RI—Here are recent arrests and citations. Information comes from the police log.

Oct. 8

Matthew J. Cocroft, 18 or 19, of Coventry, was charged with purchase/procurement of alcohol for a minor 18-21 years old.

Jordan Reed Tartaglia, 18, of Coventry, was charged with drug possession (Schedules I,II,III,IV and V); Driving under the influence; and Refusal to submit to a chemical test.

Brian E. Mercurio, Jr., 22 or 23, of Pawtucket, was cited for Driving after his license was denied, revoked or suspended, first offense.

Edward M. Tiernan, 41 or 42, of Coventry, was charged with misdemeanor shoplifting.

Robin L. Teribury, 59 or 60, of Coventry, was charged with Receiving stolen goods (under $1,500).

Oct. 9

James R. Josselyn, 33 or 34, was taken into custody on a bench warrant.

Howard Mark LaFlamme, 52 or 53, of Pawtucket, was taken into custody on a bench warrant.

Derick J. Ramey, 20 or 21, of Coventry, was charged with Disorderly conduct; Obstructing an officer; and cited for marijuana possession (1 oz. or less by a person 17 or older).
