Coventry Tropical Smoothie Cafe To Open March 1

COVENTRY, RI —Coventry's Tropical Smoothie Cafe is set to open in doors in the coming week. The store, located near the Centre of New England shopping plaza, will have its grand opening celebration on March 1.

Doors will open at 8 a.m., and the first 50 customers will receive free smoothies for a year with a purchase of $5 or more.

The new location was announced in November and initially reported to be opening in December. It is the fourth location of the smoothie chain in Rhode Island, and the first in the southern half of the state. The others are in Providence, North Providence and Cranston.
