Dennis G. Messier, Longtime Coventry Resident, Dies at 73

Dennis G. Messier, 73, of Woodland Drive, Coventry, RI passed away on Friday, August 9, 2013 at Kent Hospital in Warwick, RI. He was married to Mildred D. (Cloutier) Messier for forty-nine years. Born in West Warwick, he was the son of the late Joseph and Margaret (O’Neil) Messier. 

Dennis was a technical supervisor for 36 years at Hoechst Celanese in Coventry until his retirement in 1995. He lived in Coventry for the past twenty nine years and prior to that resided in West Warwick. 

Besides his wife, he leaves one son; Joseph Messier and his wife Lori, three grandchildren and one great grandson. 

His funeral services are private.
