New Year's Eve: If you own a local business or know of one that is hosting a New Year's Eve event, leave the info in a comment below or e-mail me at lauren.costa@patch.com so I can share it with Coventry residents who are still trying to figure out plans to ring in the new year.
Deck the House Finalist: Tyler H's The Crazy Christmas House "Deck the House" entry has made it to the national voting round! Click here to vote and help him win $100,000 for Coventry Public Schools! Tomorrow is the last day to vote and we need to get back in first place!

CPL Puppet Show: The Coventry Public Library will hold "Sparky's Puppet Show - Stories from Snowy Lands" on today at 10 a.m. The wintry show for children ages 3-10 will feature a snowman that comes to life, a bear that loves ice fishing and a visit to a toymaker. No registration is required.
CPD Safety Event: The Coventry Police Department will host a free Child Seat Installation and Kids Workshop today from 12-3 p.m. at Dunkin Donuts (800 Tiogue Ave.).

Greene Public Library Adult Book Club: The Greene Library (179 Hopkins Hollow Rd., Greene) will host an Adult Book Club from 6-7 p.m. The selection to be discussed this month is Defending Jacob by William Landay. Call 397-3873 for more information
