CPD Safety Event:  The Coventry Police Department will host a free Child Seat Installation and Kids Workshop from 12-3 p.m. at Dunkin Donuts (800 Tiogue Ave.).

School Construction Bids: The Town of Coventry School Building Committee is accepting sealed bids for Architectural Engineering firm services for bond construction projects approved in November 2012 until NOON TODAY at the School Dept. Administration Offices (1675 Flat River Rd.) At 5:30 p.m., the School Building Committee will announce and make a recommendation to accept a bid. Click here for tonight's agenda.

Community Blood Drives: Be a hero and donate blood today! Blood drives will be held from 3-6 p.m. in the Meeting Room of Western Coventry Fire Dept. (1110 Victory Hwy., Greene) and from 3-6 p.m. in the Trudeau-Pathways School gymnasium (75 Centre of New England Blvd.)

Draw-a-Breath: The Draw-a-Breath program of Hasbro Children's Hospital will hold an asthma education workshop at Hopkins Hill School tonight at 5:30 p.m. All are welcome.

CHS Alumni Musicians: Brad DeGraide, choral director and teacher at CHS, and Marina Ferri (Class of 2008) have scheduled an alumni concert for Apr. 27 at 6:30 p.m. in the high school auditorium to benefit the CHS Alumni Association. They are looking for former high school musicians who have remained in the music field either as a teacher, performer or music professional.
