CHS Early Dismissal: Coventry High School students will be dismissed today at 12:30 so that teachers may take part in professional development. The order of periods will be 5, 7, 8, without Advisory so that students do not miss any instructional time.
CPEF Applebee's Fundraiser: Take a break from cooking dinner tonight and support Coventry Public Schools! From 4-9 p.m., enjoy dinner at Applebee's in the Centre of New England and give the attached flyer to your server to have 15% of your bill benefit the Coventry Public Education Foundation.Â

CHS Band Fundraiser: On Jan. 19 from 4-8 p.m. at Olde Theater Diner (33 Sandy Bottom Rd.) ,Coventry High School band students will host a fund-raising dinner to help defray costs of the band field trips for the students. Tickets are $20 per person, and will include dinner, jazz band performances and the opportunity to enter a 50/50 raffle. Meditation Registration: Today is the last day to register for Coventry Public Library's "Meditation, the Universe and You" presentation that will take place Jan. 16 at 7 p.m. Join Dr. Alan Post, a contributing author to Meditation: As Medication for the Soul, who will motivate you to explore your own "inner space". Plan Ahead - CHS Community Night: Coventry High School will host its Annual Community Night from 6-8:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The event allows current 8th graders and their parents to come to the high school and see the programs and extra-curricular activities that are offered.
