Trash Pickup Delay: Remember, due to Monday's Martin Luther King, Jr. Day holiday, trash and recycling pickup in Coventry will be on a one-day delay schedule for the week.

CPD Safety Event: The Coventry Police Department will host a free Child Seat Installation Demonstration today from 12-3 p.m. at Crystal Cleansers in Coventry Shoppers Park.

CPR Course Registration: Has your CPR certification expired or are you just interested in learning this invaluable skill? Western Coventry Fire District is hosting a 2-year CPR certification course on Friday from 7-9 p.m. Click here for more information about the class and how to register.

Girls Lacrosse Registration: The Coventry Youth Lacrosse Association has recently announced the first ever Girls Lacrosse program for girls 11-years-old and under as of Aug. 31, 2012. Plan Ahead - School Safety Forum: On Wednesday, Jan. 30 at 6:30 p.m., Coventry Public Schools will host a School Safety & Security Forum at Coventry High School for parents and members of the community to discuss changes to the district's safety and security practices.
