School Building Committee: The Town of Coventry School Building Committee will discuss, choose and recommend to Town Council an Architectural Engineering firm bid package submitted last week for school bond improvement projects approved in November 2012. The Committee will meet today at 5:30 p.m. at the School Dept. Administration Offices (1675 Flat River Rd.). Click here for tonight's agenda.
Wellness Community CPR Course: Has your CPR certification expired or are you just interested in learning this invaluable skill? The Coventry Wellness Community is hosting a 2-year CPR certification course at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday at Feinstein Middle School (15 Foster Dr.). Governor's Business Community Outreach Forum: On Thursday, March 7 from 8:30-10 a.m., Governor Lincoln Chafee will host a community forum at Coventry Town Hall to hear from local businesses and discuss ways to help them succeed, grow and create jobs. CHS Alumni Musicians: Brad DeGraide, choral director and teacher at CHS, and Marina Ferri (Class of 2008) have scheduled an alumni concert for Apr. 27 at 6:30 p.m. in the high school auditorium to benefit the CHS Alumni Association. They are looking for former high school musicians who have remained in the music field either as a teacher, performer or music professional.
