Four Hospitalized after Serious Coventry Crash

Four rescues responded to the crash on Wednesday afternoon.

COVENTRY, RI—Four people were transported to nearby hospitals after a serious crash in Coventry on Wednesday afternoon.

Members of of all of the town’s fire districts responded to the crash, which happened at the intersection of Harkney Hill and Fish Hill Roads shortly before 3 p.m.

Crews had to use the jaws of life to extricate multiple people from the wreckage.

The condition of the injured was not immediately available.

Coventry police are investigating the accident.

A total of four of the town’s five rescues responded to the crash.

Responding agencies included the Central Coventry and Coventry Fire Districts, along with crews from the Western Coventry and Hopkins Hill Fire Districts.
