Where/When: Greene Public Library; Fridays 10-10:30 a.m.

Why Go: The Greene Public Library hosts a Friday morning program each week beginning for 1 to 3-year-olds accompanied by a parent or caregiver. The activity features songs, movement and a story. Please call the library at 397-3873 to register.

2.) Senior Center Breakfast

Where/When: Coventry Senior Center (50 Wood St.) Friday 7:30-9 a.m.

Why Go: The Coventry Senior Center is hosting its January Breakfast on Friday. Enjoy scrambled eggs, choice of bacon or sausage, French toast or English muffin, with juice, coffee and tea. All are welcome!

Pricing: $3 per person

3.) Community Blood Drive

Where/When: Coventry Credit Union, (1076 Main St.), Friday 3-6 p.m.

Why Go: Be a hero and donate blood this weekend! The Rhode Island Blood Center Bloodmobile will be stationed in Coventry on Friday for those interested.

Pricing: Blood donation

4.) Girls Softball Registration

Where/When: Coventry Community Center, Friday 6-8 p.m., Saturday 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. and Sunday 1-4 p.m.

Why Go: Coventry Girls Softball League is holding 2013 Walk-In Registrations this weekend for Slow and Fast Pitch divisions. Registration is open to all girls in Coventry and can also be done online at coventrysoftball.com. See the attached flier for more information.

Pricing: $90-$110 depending on division

5.) Little League Registration

Where/When: Alan Shawn Feinstein Middle School, Saturday 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. and Sunday 1-5 p.m.

Why Go: Coventry Little League is holding 2013 Season Registrations this weekend at ASFMS. Registration can also be done online at coventrylittleleague.com. See the attached flier for more information.

Pricing: Varies depending on division

6.) Greene Library LEGO Club

Where/When: Greene Public Library (179 Hopkins Hollow Rd., Greene); Saturday 10-11 a.m.

Why Go: Children in grades 1-5 are invited to bring their imagination to the Library's LEGO Club! Call 397-3873 for registration information.

Pricing: Free (Registration not required)

7.) CHS Boys Basketball Buffet Fundraiser

Where/When: Dave's Bar & Grill (2339 Post Rd., Warwick); Saturday 7:30-10 a.m.

Why Go: Support the Coventry High School Boys Basketball team by attending a breakfast buffet fundraiser this weekend. Contact Laurie for ticket information at 480-0547 or rolesnbutter@verizon.net

Pricing: $10 donation per person

8.) Line Dancing

Where/When: Coventry-West Greenwich Elks Lodge (42 Nooseneck Hill Rd., West Greenwich); Sunday, 6:30-8:30 p.m.

Why Go: Want to try something a little different this weekend? Then try your hand (or feet) at line dancing. All ages and abilities are welcome. For more info call Jerry (397-3700) or Lori (206-3618).

Pricing: $6 per person to benefit Elks and Emblems charities.
