Kent County: High Winds Forecast Through Afternoon
Heavy rain expected to continue throughout the day.
The National Weather Service has issued a wind advisory for Kent County and much of the surrounding area through 3 p.m.
The strongest winds are forecast for 10 a.m. through 3 p.m.. Southeast winds 15 - 25 mph with gusts of 45 mph are possible during this time period.

The NWS has also issued a Hazardous Weather Outlook alert for the area, noting rain will continue throughout the day, possibly becoming heavy a times, causing minor urban and poor drainage flooding in some spots.
