Mongo The Cat's Family Offers Reward For His Safe Return

COVENTRY, RI—Mongo, the cat, is still missing. Hopes were high he was on the way home when a report was posted saying the cat had been turned into a shelter. But that was a female cat, and not Mongo.

Mongo was a working cat and gave comfort to people at the Iannotti Funeral Home near Washington and Read. He was last seen in the funeral home parking lot on Dec. 13.

Anyone who spots him or has information is asked to call 401-821-1100. A $500 reward is being offered for his safe return.
