Most Wanted: Electronics Shoplifters at WalMart

The larceny occurred on Dec. 28, 2012.

 

The Coventry Police Department is attempting to identify three suspects who shoplifted a large amount of electronics from the Centre of New England WalMart location in Coventry.

The three suspects that entered the store are described as a black male of medium height and build, and two white females of small build and medium height.

One of the females and the male were captured on video surveillance filling shopping carts with assorted high-end electronic goods. They separated and re-joined one another several times throughout the store before leaving with the two shopping carts full of stolen merchandise. 

When the suspects arrived at the their vehicle, only a Sony sound bar and and an Emerson microwave oven were put in the car. The rest of the merchandise remained in the shopping carts.

According to a police report, the male suspect then drove away in the dark-colored sedan with both females as passengers. The vehicle has a possible Connecticut registration, 111-YAR.
