Virginia (Roberts) Welch, Virginia (Roberts) Welch, 94, of Coventry died Wednesday, May 18, 2016 at Riverview Nursing Home. She was the wife of the late Edward Alan Welch.

Born in Providence, Virginia was a daughter of the late Stephen T. and Sarah (Ashton) Roberts. She was a bookkeeper at several insurance companies until retiring.

Virginia was the sister of the late Stephen T. Roberts, Jr.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours on Monday, May 16 from 9:45 AM in THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Ave., Warwick, followed by a Graveside Service at 11:00 AM in Pawtuxet Memorial Park, Warwick.
