Rhode Island Municipal Fire Academy Graduates 12 Trainees

Barrington and Central Coventry will gain new firefighters.

BARRINGTON, RI—Five new firefighters will join the Barrington department. They just completed a nine-week training and certification program at the state academy and are among 12 trainees to graduate Nov. 17, according to Col. Ann C. Assumpico, state director of public safety.

The graduation ceremony was held at the Rhode Island Fire Training Academy in Exeter. Here is the press release.
