RI State Police Investigating Coventry Sen. Kettle
State police confirmed investigators were at the home of state Sen. Nicholas Kettle on Tuesday morning.

COVENTRY, RI — State police are confirming detectives were at the Coventry home of state Sen. Nick Kettle on Tuesday morning. According to Laura Meade Kirk, state police spokeswoman, "there is an active investigation involving Senator Kettle and detectives were at his home in Coventry this morning."
No reason for the probe was given, however.
"We are not commenting beyond that," she said. Patch has asked Sen. Kettle for a comment. He did not immediately respond.
