Cranston Election 2024 Results: Hopkins Leads For Another Term

CRANSTON, RI — It appears Mayor Ken Hopkins will get another term in Cranston.

According to unofficial election results, the Republican mayor leads over Democratic challenger Robert Ferri 18,530 votes to 16,379. One hundre percent of precincts have been counted in Cranston.

All eyes, of course, were on the presidential race between main party candidates vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald J. Trump.

Beyond the presidential race, Rhode Island voters weighed in on races for U.S. senate, Congress, state senate, the state house, and bond questions. Cranston also voted for school committee and city council candidates.
