Domestic Assault; A DUI; Shoplifting: Cranston Polie Arrest Log

CRANSTON, RI — The following people were arrested by Cranston police between Friday and Monday.

Names of those arrested, their age, or the town they reside in, as well as the time of the arrest, were only omitted when not provided by police.

Friday

6:20 a.m. — Christina Whited, 56, of Cranston, was charged with driving without consent of owner. Police said the arrest stemmed from a traffic stop near the intersection of Park Avenue and Gansett Avenue.

5:55 p.m. — Ginamarie Costa, 54, of Cranston, was arrested on a warrant from Rhode Island State Police. Cranston police said the arrest happened after a call for service to the Mobil at 975 Oaklawn Ave.

Saturday

12:43 a.m. — Michael Mangiarelli, 56, of Cranston, was charged with domestic simple assault and domestic disorderly conduct.

12:46 a.m. — Alyssa Beaton, 25, of Smithfield, was charged with DUI. Police said the arrest happened after a warrant pickup by Rhode Island State Police.

12:47 a.m. — Krista McCagney, 38, of Cranston, was charged with domestic simple assault and domestic disorderly conduct.

4:12 a.m. — Victor Avila, 38, of Cranston, was arrested on three bench warrants out of Rhode Island Superior Court. Police said the arrest stemmed from a motor vehicle stop on Cranston Street at Niantic Avenue.

Sunday

9:50 a.m. — Carissa Manning, 37, of Johnston, was charged with shoplifting. She was also arrested on a warrant out of Third District Court. Police said the arrest stemmed from a call for service to the Stop & Shop on Garfield Avenue.

Monday

4:15 a.m. — Alex Martra, 24, of Cranston, was charged with domestic disorderly conduct.
