Police Searching for Man who Allegedly Attacked Girl, 16, with Brass Knuckles

Have you seen Wilson Rivera, 18? He's a Coventry native and wanted by Cranston police for the brutal assault of a 16-year-old girl.

CRANSTON, RI—Cranston police are searching for an 18-year-old wanted for felony assault with a dangerous weapon.

Wilson Rivera might be driving one of two cars registered to him: a 1999 Acura TL and a 2001 Volvo S80. He might also be driving a 2004 Volvo XC90, police said. See photos below.

Rivera allegedly beat up a juvenile girl, 16, with brass knuckles. The child was hospitalized.

The incident reportedly happened during an altercation at the carnival at Mulligan's Island that comes to the city every Memorial Day weekend.

Footage from the incident was posted on YouTube and shared widely. In the video, it appears that the victim got in between people who were fighting before she was assaulted.
