Police Seek Price-Rite Purse Thief

CRANSTON, RI—A woman stole a purse from the Price Rite on Elmwood Avenue last month and police are asking the public to help them identify her.

Police said the woman stole a purse accidentally left behind by a woman who shopped at the store at around noon on July 25.

The suspect "claimed to store employees that the purse was hers" and left the store with the purse.

The suspect is described as a white female between 30- and 40-years-old. She has a medium to stocky build and dirty blonde or light brown hair.
