Providence Man, 52, Killed In Crash On I-95 South
Two vehicles were involved in the crash on I-95 South, near Thurbers Avenue.
PROVIDENCE, RI — A Providence man was killed in an early morning crash on Interstate 95 South, Rhode Island State Police said.
The crash happened just before 5:30 a.m. near the Thurbers Avenue exit. Roger Hall, a 52-year-old man from Providence, was driving a Honda Civic when he lost control, police said, veering left into the jersey barrier at the center median. The car stopped sideways in the high-speed lane.
A driver in a pickup truck was heading south in the high-speed lane, police said, and was unable to stop in time. The truck hit the car on the front passenger side.

Hall was rushed to Rhode Island Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The driver of the truck was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, and later released, according to police.
