• 18 Displaced By Central Falls Fire: Reports (patch.com) — Cumberland firefighters were among several area departments called in to help battle a basement fire that displaced 18 people from a multifamily home in Central Falls early Wednesday. All residents and a dog escaped safely, and no injuries were reported, but the blaze forced 16 adults and two babies from the Mary Street building.
