2 Pickup Trucks Catch Fire After Head-On Crash In East Greenwich

One person was taken to Kent Hospital with injuries.

EAST GREENWICH, RI — A head-on collision in East Greenwich resulted in two pickup trucks catching fire Tuesday morning, according to fire officials.

Fire officials were called to the crash around 10 a.m., in the 1,300th block of South County Trail. Two fire engines and an ambulance arrived and found two pickup truck engulfed in flames.

Firefighters extinguished the flames and brought one person to Kent Hospital in Warwick, with non-life threatening injuries.
