Boy Drowns in Pool at East Greenwich Party
The boy, 7, was found unresponsive in a pool at a Bow Street home on Saturday.
EAST GREENWICH, RI—A local 7-year-old boy has died after drowning in a pool at a Bow Street home on Saturday.
Police said the boy was found floating face down in the pool and later pronounced dead at Kent County Hospital.
The boy was a student at Meadowbrook Elementary School.

Police said the incident happened during a party with about 30 people attending. Police and first responders were dispatched shortly before 3 p.m. An adult pulled the child from the pool and EMTs administered CPR as he was transported to the hospital.
The incident is under investigation.
