Division Street Closed Between Howland & Heritage Drive: Town
A water main break caused the disruption, which is expected to last until Tuesday, according to the town's website.
EAST GREENWICH, RI—A water main break on Sunday has forced officials to close a section of Division Street, according to the Town's website. The closed stretch is between Howland Road and Heritage Drive. Both directions are off limits. They're expected to stay closed through Tuesday, June 26.
The closure means drivers will have to find alternate routes to reach Goddard Park from Interstate-95 and to access I-95, Route 4 and Route 2 from Main Street in East Greenwich.
Residents concerned about water quality are asked to call Kent County Water Authority at 401-821-9300, ext. 1.
