Do You Recognize This Cat From Division Road in East Greenwich?
The male cat was altered but had no collar or microchip, according to animal control.

EAST GREENWICH, RI — A "very vocal" cat that turned up in a Division Road yard needs a home.
A resident contacted East Greenwich Animal Control on Wednesday and said his "neighbor had a stray cat in her yard that was very vocal and not leaving," according to a report.
"I could hear it meowing very loudly in the background," an animal control officer said in the report.

An animal control officer found the cat on the steps with a resident, the report said.
"It appeared to be an adult, altered male gray and white tabby," the report said. "He did not appear to be acting abnormally and it did not seem to be injured. There was no collar and I scanned him for a microchip with negative results."

A post on the animal control Facebook page said the cat is a "very vocal boy and appears to be in good condition."
