EAST GREENWICH, RI—East Greenwich voters will chose between two candidates vying for a vacant School Committee seat in a special election on Tuesday.
Democrat Amy Snyder and Republican Matt Plain are facing off in a contest during which both have faced the headwinds of a brief campaign period overlapping with the long holiday lull.
Both candidates are parents of children who attend East Greenwich schools.

Polls open at 7 a.m. and close at 8 p.m. To find your local polling place, you have a few options. You can go to the Voter Information Center maintained by the Secretary of State. Or, you can text GOVOTE to 468-683. You’ll get a text asking for your address.
