5 EGHS Girls Earn First Team All-State Honors For Fall Sports
EGHS's Drljaca in tennis, Pallister and Kraft in field hockey, McCaffery in Cross Country, and LeBlanc in soccer are named.
The Providence Journal has named many of its All-State teams for the fall season. Here are the girl athletes from East Greenwich High School who received honors.
Girls Tennis, First Team:
Junior Aleksandra Drljaca was named to the first team for the third year in a row, but this year, she has the distinction of having won the state singles title. Drljaca won every match she played during the regular season, and lost only 2 sets out of the 38 she played.Â

Elizabeth Blessing
Field Hockey, First Team:
Senior Keri Pallister was, according to the Providence Journal, a "key reason East Greenwich finished second in I-South." Pallister, as sweeper, provided leadership for several rookie teammates.
Senior Marielle Kraft was the leading scorer in Division I for the second year in a row, with 21 goals and 11 assists. Coach Deb McMullen said Kraft was a leader this year, someone who made play and played defense.

Girls Cross Country, First Team:
Sophomore Margaret McCaffrey placed sixth in the state championships, third in the Class B championships, and 21 at the New Englands.Â
Girls Soccer, First Team:
Senior Skylar LeBlanc makes it to the First Team All-State after three years on the Second Team. Her strength this season was on defense. LeBlanc has committed to played for Northeastern.
