Exciting programs for children to stay busy during the break are being offered by East Greenwich Parks and Recreation.

From the East Greenwich Parks and Recreation Department:

The East Greenwich Parks and Recreation Department will be offering four days of trips and activities for area children, in grades 1-6, during the February Vacation. Children may either sign up for a whole day of activities or simply a trip or a project. Registrations will begin on Wednesday, January 27th. EG Residents may sign up online as long as they have a preapproved online account, starting at 8:45AM. For paper registrations get your form to the office by the first day of registration and the office will begin enrolling lottery style on 1/27/16. The best chance of getting your selection will be via the online process as classes will fill. Camper-ships and reduced fees are available for those on public assistance. Walk in registrations will be accepted Friday, January 29th.

The office will be open at 8:30am and close at 5:00pm, for those needing all day care. Children will participate in the scheduled trips and activities. No alternative activities are planned, so sign up now to secure a spot as space is limited. There is a $10 fee per day for all day care.
