Five Things: Libraries And White Out!

R.I. Library Legislative Awareness Day: The Rhode Island Library Association (RILA) celebrates the annual RI Library Legislative Awareness Day this afternoon in the State House Rotunda from 2 to 4 p.m. The event works to exhibit library-related organizations and show legislators the benefits they have on communities. RILA also requests the attendance of all RI residents to let their leaders know how integral library resources are, and plans to showcase the virtual presence of those unable to attend in person. RILA encourages those wishing to virtually connect to call 401-203-READ (7323) before or during event hours.

Avenger Home action: White Out tonight! The Boys Basketball team plays Moses Brown at home, JV at 5:15 p.m. and Varsity (White Out!) at 7. Varsity, 12-2, is having a great season so come out and support them!

Planning Board meeting has been cancelled. The next meeting is March 6.

Booster Club’s Ultimate Hoedown: It's time to giddy up and head on over to the second annual Booster Bash benefitting East Greenwich Athletics! The Ultimate Hoedown-Booster Throwdown takes place Saturday, Feb. 9, 2012 at the Quonset O Club.
