Five Things: Town Council, Art League
Your guide for life in East Greenwich today, May 28.

Town Council meeting: It’s Tuesday, but there will be a Town Council meeting tonight instead of the usual Monday night meeting time. On the agenda is approval of the warrant article (agenda) for the Financial Town Meeting and a commendation for Temple Torat Yisrael, which has built a new house of worship on Middle Road.
Art League of R.I. exhibit: Art League of Rhode Island's associate and elected artist member small works exhibit is right here in East Greenwich at the Heritage Art Gallery and Glass Studio, 5580 Post Road.
Safety Town 2013 Registration: Open for all kindergarten students. This 4 day program will be held at Hanaford School June 25 - 28, from 9 a.m. to noon. The cost is $60 per child, which includes 4 half-day sessions, snacks, t-shirt and all supplies. Topics include all areas of safety geared toward kindergarten age students including: bicycle, pet, water, helmet, personal, poison, drug and bus safety plus more. EG Fire, Rescue and Police units will provide information sessions, demonstrations and vehicle tours. Participants also get a first-time ride on an EG school bus.
