RhodeMap RI Regional Forum: The state wants to know β what's it like living and working in Rhode Island? You can tell them how to build a better Rhode Island. Thursdayβs session is one of four being held around the state this week. It is a free public open forum where your thoughts and ideas can make a difference. At the URI Memorial Student Union in Kingston. From 5 to 9 p.m. Formal program begins at 6 p.m., but stop by anytime.
Ramadan ends: The holiest month in the Islamic faith β Ramadan β ends today, according to the Fiqh Council of North America.

On Friday, Poetry & Art opening: The opening reception for Poetry & Art, an exhibition of contemporary poetry and responsive art sponsored by the Wickford Art Association. A collection of 55 poems by local writers was compiled and 55 juried artist members of the WAA were asked to select a poem from the submissions and create a piece of art inspired by the poem. The opening takes place at 36 Beach Street from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
