Geils Band, is bringing his 2026 tour to East Greenwich on March 28, giving local fans a rare chance to see him live. The six-date run follows a year-long break while he finished his memoir and worked on a new album. Tickets go on sale December 19, with more shows expected.
   

• Obituary: Steven J. Gardiner, 75 (eastgreenwichnews.com) — East Greenwich readers are informed of the passing of Steven J. Gardiner, 75, an EGHS Class of 1968 member and former town resident. A U.S. Army veteran born in Cranston, he is survived by two brothers and their families. Services and burial will be private, with local arrangements handled by Hill-Skeffington Funeral Home in East Greenwich.
